Biden, Obama, and Trump campaign in Pennsylvania

U.S President Joe Biden and former presidents Barack Obama and Donald Trump are all campaigning in Pennsylvania this weekend. The convergence comes ahead of the U.S. Congressional midterm elections on Tuesday which both Biden and Trump have framed as being pivotal for the future of America.

More:

  • Obama campaigned in Pittsburgh on Saturday with John Fetterman, the Democratic nominee for the Senate election in Pennsylvania.
  • Trump is scheduled to hold a rally this evening in Latrobe Pennsylvania in support of the state’s Republican Senate candidate, Mehmet Oz.
  • Biden, Obama, and Fetterman are scheduled to rally together on Saturday afternoon.
  • “The thing about Pennsylvania, it’s such a close state that small things can have big impacts,” said Democratic strategist Mike Mikus.

Zoom Out:

  • Pennsylvania is a key swing state in which thin margins separate the two Senate candidates.
  • Candidates in the 2022 midterm have been partly defined by how they relate to Biden and Trump.
